The Financial Literacy Project 

Each year, the Junior League of Murfreesboro's New Member Class chooses a project to offer support and resources to the community. In 2026, the New Member Class chose an online Financial Literacy campaign, in keeping with the hard economic times many Americans are facing. They approached a variety of topics, including budgeting, credit, couponing and meal prep, financially planning to grow families, savings and investment options for children and maximizing credit card benefits. Tenured Junior League members, Bethany Alcorn and Caitlyn Brown were gracious enough to share the thought process behind the choice of project.
